B.J. Industries has been in business for almost 25 years providing high quality products to consumers in a wide variety of applications.  As the years have passed, the products offered have expanded, but the focus has remained on the customer to provide optimum value.  This customer focus is now concerned not only with the functional features of the product but also providing items in harmony with our environment.  Renewable and recyclable are fundamental criteria for this approach.

With the background of expanding the product line, B.J. Industries merged its business activities with one of its early vendors that had a rich history in the apparel sector.  Existing products provided the base to expand with new contract manufacturing and private label business.  Many major national brands were developed and expanded with our high quality manufacturing program.  As the apparel production grew we expanded our manufacturing with an offshore partnership.  This multi-facility approach offers benefits to meet almost all production requirements while maintaining our control to provide only high quality premium production.

Early in 2008 we developed the concept for a new premium women’s activewear line with organic/eco-friendly fabrics.  The new line would not only be responsive to the environmental issues but would offer styled garments with seasonal releases to provide fashionable activewear as true lifestyle apparel.  The test market sales were most encouraging inspite of a difficult economy for a new product line.  Based on this strong consumer demand, the product is being offered in selected markets at premium retailers for Holiday 09’ and Spring 10’.
